Updated June 8 with the party themes that Atlantis just announced 😉
All parties will be outdoors at the pool, weather permitting (a.k.a The Aquatic Club), except for Neon Playground, which will be in The Red Room.
Nighttime Party Themes
These nighttime party themes happens on every Atlantis cruise:
Neon Playground 🌙
Mix of lights, neon, sparkles, glow in the dark & games, cartoons, anime. Will be indoors at The Red Room - can get warm and humid so plan accordingly.
Neon or fluorescent clothes for something easy, else bright colored clothes works too. Bright white (not off white) clothes will glow from the black lights.
Dress like a character from cartoons, anime, games, etc.
Add glow in the dark or light-up accessories, such as a glow-stick necklace, LED light-up bracelet, or glow in the dark body paint.
Summer White 🌙
White theme. Another Atlantis signature on the second-last night. Whether simple or extravagant, just wear white!
For something super easy, plain white shorts/shirt, job done.
To take it up a notch, look at other types of white clothing, such as speedos or nice underwear.
Wear a recognizable white outfit: Snow White, Marilyn Monroe, Princess Leia
Add white accessories: earrings, harness, tiara, go nuts.
Even better: accessories that light up or glow in white.
It’s Bazaar 🌙
Basically, this is a “wear anything” party - if Atlantis didn’t make up so much fluff with their party description, I would call this an un-themed party. You’re supposed to hit the markets while docked in Istanbul and Kusadashi for an outfit - if you want to do this that’s fine, but don’t go out of your way.
If you have an outfit at home you wanna bring and wear that doesn’t fit any of the other themes, do that. Otherwise, just wear anything you want.
Gods & Goddesses 🌙
This is a theme that is kinda new for Atlantis, not one that they use very much!
Wear white for a super-easy, low effort option. Metallic gold can work too.
Turn a bed sheet into a toga, add a gold rope/ribbon as a belt, add a gold left wreath for head gear and gold cuffs on the wrists. Even a bit of gold glitter.
Go the Eros route and dress as Cupid. Rose Gold accessories on white, small toy bow/arrow in hand or across your back. Bonus points if you wear blush on your face and some temporary red heart tattoos.
Take inspiration from Poseidon / Neptune (we’re on a cruise after all!) A base outfit of teal or seafoam green, and accessories from there: a toy/inflatable pitch fork, maybe pearls as a necklace
Sports uniforms of any kind should work, though you’ll probably want to make it a...
...crop top! Buy one or take scissors to any shirt
Bonus for mesh shirts
Bottoms that are naturally tight and skimpy works well: speedos, really short soccer/running shorts, football tights
Going the other way, you can get some shoulder pads (football style) and knee pads that aren’t too bulky.
Accessorize with armbands, headbands, sweatbands, baseball caps. You can have inflatable sports gear like baseball bats. Even a bit of war paint.
Jockstraps, duh!
Daytime T-Dance Themes
Dog Tag T-Dance ☀️
Military theme. An Atlantis signature. Metal dog tags will be handed out with your choice or green, yellow, or red stickers to indicate your level of availability. Wear sunscreen and bring sunglasses.
Camo is always on theme. Try different colors (blue, pink, forest green, etc.) and accessorize with camo hats, bandanas, etc.
Color-coded outfit: dress in all black, olive drab green, or navy blue. A super-easy option are a plain black short and shorts.
Dress like a navy sailor, air force pilot, or any similarly recognizable uniform.
Leather gear works, especially black leather.
Aviator sunglasses with any of the above.
Revival: Classic Disco T-Dance ☀️
Disco theme. The final big party of the cruise on the last full day. Wear sunscreen with your disco attire.
Metallic-colored clothes, especially leggings. An all-gold looks works well.
Bell bottoms, jumpsuits, anything sequined
Accessorize: afro wigs, large oversized gold sunglasses (aviators also work), gold jewelry, wide belts, headbands, etc.
Seriously Pink T-Dance ☀️
Pink theme. Wear sunscreen and sunglasses.
Wear pink, duh. Any pink clothes will do.
Iconic characters in pink: Barbie and Ken, Mean Girls, Minnie Mouse, Jigglypuff, Pink Power Ranger, etc.
Pink versions of any uniform you can think of: sports jerseys, jock straps, pink scrubs, school girls uniform, etc.
Splash T-Dance ☀️
Water theme. This is an occasional Atlantis classic that’s not on every sailing: water fight meets t-dance on the pool deck!
Be prepared to get at least slightly wet!
You won’t get totally soaked (unless you want to!) but you’ll probably get splashed (more than once) so leave your phone and valuables in the room.
Less is more for this theme, which is a bit less about fashion and more about splashing around.
Any swimsuit will work - in fact that’s what most people will (and should) be wearing!
To stand out a bit, think about different types of swimsuits you can wear, such as from different eras, the full body ones that synchronized swimmers wear, the bring orange shorts from Baywatch, etc.
Inflatable water wings, swim goggles, and nose plugs are some fun (and practical) accessories you can don.
