🧑🏻‍🍳 All restaurants are included

Unlike most other cruise lines, Virgin does not have separate “complimentary” (free) and “specialty” (extra-cost) restaurants, as they’re all included with your fare.
Some restaurants offer a few fancy extra-cost menu items, but most of the menu is free.

📋 No reservations needed

Just go to the restaurant you want, whenever you want.

🍖 No buffet or large dining hall

Many cruise lines have a “main dining hall” which is a massive dining space with hundreds of tables, but there’s nothing close to that on Virgin. Instead, do what you do on land when you want to eat out - pick a restaurant based on what kind of cuisine you want to eat.
Buffet buffs should check out , which is Virgin’s alternative to the typical buffet.
ask-question

Why no buffet?

I’ve heard directly from Virgin about this:
Food is fresh and hot: it’s not cooked until you order it.
Less wasted food: cooking big batches of food as necessary in a buffet means there will always be food served that’s not eaten.
The tradeoff is that you have to wait for the food to be cooked, though generally this only takes a minute or two.

📋 Lots of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options

Most restaurants have several vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free menu options, which are all clearly marked on the menu. The few exceptions are places like The Wake, which is a steak and seafood restaurant.
