A standard service charge is included in the menu price of the drinks, so the price you see is the price you pay. On some other cruise lines, the service charge is added in the bill.
Should I still leave a cash tip? (and a better option)
On Virgin Voyages, cash tips are not the norm and there is absolutely no expectation or obligation for them. Your cruise fare already includes a gratuity charge, or a daily gratuity charge will be added to your onboard account.
Even better than a cash tip: get the bartender’s name and mention them in the Virgin post-cruise survey. Virgin takes these very seriously and such mentions contribute to crew benefits such as promotions and time off.
